Sinful Colors Sugar Rush Collection Swatches

Although it's below freezing right now, Spring is just around the corner.  The cosmetic companies are already releasing their Spring collections.  Recently I found Sinful Colors release in my local Walgreens.  Sugar Rush is the Sinful Colors Spring collection, well at least so far; Sinful Colors is infamous for multiple collection releases.  Sinful Colors is also infamous for releasing collections containing repromotes however from this collection there is only 1 repromote, the rest are new shades. At first sight, I assumed that this was a collection of pastel creams, but surprisingly I was wrong. There were some surprises in this collection.

The one repromote in this collection is Unicorn.  It a dusty pale yellow cream. This picture is two coats. There is still VNL so I would suggest three coats.

Sugar Rush, the collection's namesake, is a soft powder blue cream.  In this photo, I am wearing two coats and obtained a complete opaque application.

Next, is Sugar N' Spice, is not neon but a bright raspberry pink. It reminds me of Sinful Colors Cream Pink. I need to do a side-by-side comparison. Sugar N' Spice has a very fine micro shimmer. Pictured with two coats.

Sweet Nothing is a dusty teal.  Previously I would have described this as a cream finish, but recently, one of my nail polish blogger mentors, Rhonda, of Nails Beautiqued, introduced me to a new term, "Crellies". I would definitely call Sweet Nothing a cream jelly-"Crellie". It has the consistency of both a cream and a jelly.

The next four shades threw me for a loop. I looked at the bottles and saw cream pastels.  The surprisingly, they each have a very faint shimmer. First is Cotton Candy. This is another polish I would describe as a creme jelly. Since it's not as opaque as a true cream, I suggest 3 coats. Pictured here is two coats and I have VNL and some streaks.

Orange Cream, a peachy orange, crellie, was the first of the collection in which I noticed the shimmer. The application is streaky so apply with care.
Next is Candy Coated. It is a periwinkle-lilac crellie, with the same faint shimmer.  I think this is one of my favorites in this collection.

Lastly, is Sweet Tooth, which I would describe as a soft lavendar. It also has the same faint shimmer.

So that is the Sinful Colors Sugar Rush collection. If you were to get this collection, you will be set for Spring.  Alone or layered these polishes give you great combination opportunities.

And this collection was released just in time for another Walgreens Sinful Colors sale. This week, 2/17-23, there is a $1.00 off coupon in the Walgreens Sale circular. So here is your opportunity to get some of these new polishes or get some of the others you've been wanting to get.

Are you ready for Spring? What colors are you excited to reintroduce into your wardrobe for the season?

Grace, Peace, & Blessings.
