Epilepsy Awareness: Day 3-Essie Play Date & NYX Dynamic Glitter

Today is a much talked about purple from the Essie Spring 2012 Go Overboard Collection. Initially, I was going to pass this polish by, but it is just so pretty I needed to have it in my collection. It's funny how some colors can look so ordinary but they still call to you.  Today's purple is Essie Play Date.  

Essie Play Date is a gorgeous medium cream purple. To achieve full opacity, I needed two coats but the application was smooth. It is an ideal Spring color.  Of all the purples in my collection, I really don't have another purple like Play Date; China Glaze Spontaneous is darker and OPI Planks A lot is lighter.

To add a little bling to this manicure I added an accent nail using NYX Girls Dynamic Glitter.  The NYX Girls line can be found on several of the online retailers, but I purchased mine at a local beauty supply store.

I am really starting to see my brand preferences change. Essie was never a favorite, but with the latest collections, I am loving the colors. I have seen pictures of the next few collections and see several that I will need to add to my collection.
