Epilepsy Awareness: Day 4-China Glaze Sweet Hook & Luminous Lavender

Today's purple manicure consists of two polishes that were sent to me for review.  In fact, China Glaze Sweet Hook was in the very first package of polishes I every received for review. I was completely beside myself when I received it. When I started blogging, first I was shocked to learn that there was an entire world of nail bloggers and then to learn that some of them actually receive samples from these national companies, WOW!  That was never why I started blogging, it was than and is still now a passion.

Anyway, on to the manicure, as I already mentioned, today consists of China Glaze Sweet Hook which was a part of the 2011 ElectroPop Collection.  It is a very pale, light, pastel purple. This polish screams for something else to make it pop. So to the rescue came another polish I received for review, China Glaze Luminous Lavender. Which was part of the 2012 Glitter Crackle Collection.  Surprisingly, when the crackle trend first started I really did not like it. But slowly, I added a couple to my collection.  I think this combination is really pretty. Crackle doesn't have to be so extreme.

In my opinion, these two polish make an excellent combination. I will definitely pull out the other three crackles I received and make more combination manicures. How knows, there is a darker purple crackle, Glam-More, you may see soon. LOL!

What nail trends did you not like when they first came out but you have since started to like?

Grace, Peace, & Blessings.
* These products were sent to me for review consideration by the creator. These however are my honest opinions. I am not employed by nor was I paid by this company.

  1. very pretty and I do love this combo. I'm not sure how I feel about the glitter crackles, I don't have any, but this is a great mani.

  2. Thanks. I wasn't crazy about crackles either, but the glitter crackles are not a strong as the original crackles, so I can deal with them. LOL!
