Top 6 Blue Nail Polishes for Summer! Response Post

Come on now! You know when I saw Amanda's post of ItIsAmandaaa of her Top 6 Blue Nail Polishes for Summer, I had to chime in. Amanda did a collaboration with Cali of ThreeSixtyNails. I will link their posts below.

If you have followed me for more than 10 minutes you already know I LOVE blue nail polishes! Just as Amanda said in her video, I often have people tag me on blue polish posts and I love them!

While this is supposed to be my top 6 blue polishes I could have easily taken it to my top 100. Again, I love blue polishes! I remember the very first blue polish I ever purchased, Sally Girl Mean Streak. But I digress. Back to the reason for this post. I am drawn to mid-tone blues for Summer, cobalt, bright, holo, they all speak my truth.

The six I decided to share each fall into one of the above-mentioned categories. In no particular order, I will start with China Glaze, Aquadelic*. This is from the 2012 Spring Electropop collection. This robin's egg blue cream whisks me away to the Caribbean. While this is an 8-year-old polish, it is still available through online retailers.

The next is Color Club Crystal Baller from the 2015 Halo Hues collection. This gorgeous blue-purple linear holo is a must for any blue loving collector. It's still available on the Color Club website. This is three coats for full opacity.

Another blue that jumped into my cart years ago is Color Club Bright Night. This is from the 2013 Kaleidoscope collection. It is bright but I wouldn't call it neon...nonetheless, you won't be missed wearing this. It is also still available on the Color Club website.

The one indie brand in this post is Older and Wiser from Jill of Glisten & Glow's 2020 Birthday release. This is described as a darkened cornflower blue polish loaded with pink/purple/green color-shifting shimmer. It isn't currently listed on the Glisten & Glow website, so it may be difficult to obtain, but well worth it.

This next blue beauty is Zoya Tallulah (2012), described as a medium electric cobalt blue with fine bright aqua shimmer. There is a "lit from within" to this polish. Definitely a Summer go-to!

Last, but not least is Zoya Walker from the 2019 Summer Collection. Walker is described as a deep ocean blue cream. When this collection was first released, this was at the top of my list.

So these are 6 of my favorite Summer blue polishes but I promise there are many more. Blue is a color that will forever be at the top of my favorites. What are some of your favorite blue polishes for Summer?
