NOTD: Nicole by OPI, It's Up To You...

During a recent trip to Marshalls, I spotted several bottles of nail polish; and you know I had to stop and take a look. I had seen bottles of Barielle before but this time I found Essie and Nicole by OPI. I spent a great deal of time rummaging through all the bottles and came out with this gem.

If you have read any of my posts or followed me on Twitter, by know that blue and purple are two of my favorite colors; so Nicole by OPI, It's Up To You was like hitting the jackpot. It is a gorgeous blue/purple duochrome. Granted the duo is stronger in the bottle, but there is a some duo when on the nails.

I don't own many Nicole by OPI shades but the formula, brush and color of It's Up To You, will have me looking at others.

What more can I say, it's blue and purple!!! It had to be mine.  What is your "can't pass it up" color?

  • Application: Smooth, achieved the picture color with 2 coats.

  1. It's so sad that most duochrome polishes have a rather unicolor finish when applied. Still, this is a nice blue color!

  2. @Norwenna, I agree. The bottles always look gorgeous but when applied they tend to be less than wonderful.
