Glitter Galore: Sinful Color Diamond Lust Collection - I Dream In Jewels layered over Pure Ice Over The Top

Last week I started sharing with you some of the Sinful Colors glitters I purchased from the new Diamond Lust collection along with complementary bases.  I am still surprised just how much I have been drawn to glitters lately.

Today, I have another combination to share.  When I first saw the Sinful Colors Diamond Lust display, the very first polish I was drawn to was a gorgeous golden copper glitter named I Dream In Jewels. This clear base has a mixture of gold and red micro glitters along with holographic diamond shaped glitter.
As I explained previously, the Sinful Colors Diamond Lust collection consists of clear bases with colorful  and holographic glitters. There are multiple sized and shaped glitters, including micro, diamond, bar, dot and hexagonal.

I decided to layer Sinful Colors I Dream In Jewels over another of my untrieds. I decided on Pure Ice Over The Top. This was one of the limited edition polishes Pure Ice released as part of their Runway Collection last Fall.  Over The Top was part of the Velour Finish Collection.  It dries to a gorgeous matte suede finish.  I love this shade and finish against my skin tone. I own a couple others and need to see if I can find the others from this collection.  The application was simple with no issues. As pictured, this is 2 coats.

So to my Pure Ice Over The Top manicure, I layered Sinful Colors I Dream In Jewels. I am loving this combination and can't wait to match it with other shades in my stash.  It almost has a mannequin look but with a little bling.

Well, I will have other Sinful Colors Diamond Lust combination very soon.  If you missed my previous post, click here to see Rags To Riches

The glitter bug has really bitten me. I have been buying glitter polishes like crazy lately. What are some of your favorite glitter polishes?

Grace, Peace, & Blessings.

NOTD: Sephora by OPI-I Only Shop Vintage

While on a recent trip to Sephora, I came across the latest Sephora by OPI collection. Bohemian Brights, it consists of both brights and neutrals. The one shade that caught my eye was I Only Shop Vintage.  It is a medium opaque metallic golden bronze.  It kinda of reminds me of a stronger yet lighter China Glaze Ingrid.

Have you tried any of the new polishes from the Bohemian Brights collection?

NOTD: OPI DS Illuminate

After my first disappointment with the OPI DS line (DS Jewel) I was hesitant to try any others. But happily I did and so far I am in love with the polishes I have purchased.  I blogged about Extravagance a short while back and today I have OPI DS Illuminate for you.  It is beautiful.  Another one of the polishes I can't stop looking at.  It think one of the reasons I like it is that it is so close to my skintone and therefore, has that elongating effect to my fingers.  I have also acquired OPI DS Reflection and DS Opulence, so I will be providing updates on those shortly.  I can't wait for OPI to release more in the DS line.  The two latest, Magic and Mystery are not on my list to purchase.

Review:  OPI DS Illuminate is a medium brown bronze with green gold holo effect.  The application is at least a two coater.  In these photos, it is two coats with BC and TC.

Grace and Peace.

China Glaze: Vintage Vixen - Foxy!!!

China Glaze-Foxy

I know that many strive to own entire collections of polishes, but that has never been my goal.  I purchase what I like and seldom are there entire collections in which I like all the colors.  But if I had to chose one collection it would be China Glaze Vintage Vixen.  Of the 12 colors, I currently own 5 (Midnight Mission, Bogie, Emerald Fitzgerald, Hey Baby, and my NOTD: Foxy) and plan on purchasing 4 others (1st Class Ticket, Ingrid, Riveter Rouge, and Goin’ my Way?).  I am not a fan of the crackles or shatters, so I anxiously await the Escape collection in April, Metro in July and Let it Snow in September.  I already have spotted several polishes that I need to add to my collection.

REVIEW: Foxy, is a beautiful warm, burnt, reddish bronze.  The application is common to China Glaze, smooth.  In this photo, it took two coats to achieve this look, followed by a SV Top Coat. Please excuse the nick, wasn't quite dry when I went to bed.

Bring on the Spring/Summer Collections!!!
