Autism Awareness: Essie Smooth Sailing

The blue manicure I'm sharing with you today is one from the 2011 Essie Braziliant Collection.  Essie Smooth Sailing was highly sought after when it was first released.  It was one of those "must haves", but once I bought it, I just never got around to wearing it until now.

It's not because I just love blue nail polishes, but this is just another one of those great blue polishes. Essie Smooth Sailing, is a periwinkle, cornflower blue, with silver shimmer. But there is also a purple/pink shimmer depending on how the light hits.

The application was smooth, but it did take 2 coats to achieve full opaqueness. This is another polish, I don't know why it took me so long to wear. It's worth having.  I want to say that it is still available as part of the core collection if you are looking to add it to your collection.
I am slowly increasing my collection of Essie polishes.  What are some of your favorite Essie polishes? What are your recommendations for adding to my stash?

Grace, Peace, & Blessings.
